Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has been declared winner of last Saturday Governorship election in the state.
Returning Officer of the state, Prof. Shehu Adamu Iya, who announced the results at the state Collation Center in Jalingo, declared Ishaku winner of the election, having scored the highest votes of 520,433.
The returning officer further announced that All progressives Congress’s candidate, Sani Abubakar Danladi scored 362,735 votes in the election.
Ishaku, who contested the election on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, will serve for the second term.
