President Bola Tinubu has expressed confidence that Nigeria’s economy has recovered from recent challenges, saying ongoing reforms are now delivering measurable results while security operations continue to improve through enhanced coordination among security agencies.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, disclosed this after leading the National Communications Team to a meeting with the President in Abuja.
The delegation, which included members of the Presidential Media Team and heads of key government information agencies, reviewed public perceptions of government policies and discussed strategies for strengthening public communication.
Idris said the engagement provided an opportunity to brief the President on citizens’ reactions to government programmes while receiving guidance on the administration’s communication approach.
According to him, Tinubu maintained that the economic reforms introduced by his administration had begun yielding positive outcomes and were positioning the country for sustained growth.
The minister also said the President acknowledged that security challenges persist in some parts of the country but expressed confidence that ongoing efforts were producing better results through closer collaboration among security and intelligence agencies.
