Two Die In Lagos Building Collapse

No fewer than two persons died, while 10 others were injured, as two residential buildings collapsed in Lagos Island area of Lagos State, on Wednesday night.

It was gathered that the three storey building, located on No.15 Alli Street, was marked as one of the many distressed buildings in Lagos Island.

General Manager, LASEMA, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, told journalists that two persons died in the collapsed buildings, saying that the three-storey building caved in at 11pm on Wednesday night.

He added that the building collapsed on top of a bungalow next to it, and that 10 persons were evacuated and taken to the General Hospital and Massey Hospital, both on the island.
