Slow Growth Of SMEs Traced To Bad Leadership

Managing Director, Pumoh Prints Concept Limited, Mrs. Umoh Adingwupu has attributed the slow level of growth in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) sector in the country to years of neglect and bad leadership in the Nigeria.

Adingwupu stated this at the formal launch of the company’s multi million naira state-of-the-art equipment in Lagos on Tuesday.

According to Adingwupu, the SMEs in the country would do well if the right infrastructure is put in place for them to thrive, adding that when the leadership is right, and there is stability of power, even the small businesses will grow.

She stated that most companies in the Nigeria take their printing work outside the country due to lack of quality and professionalism in the printing community and remarked that with the acquisition of the new equipment, the company was poised to churn out quality and affordable printing second to none.
