Osun Threatens Court Action Over N3bn OAUTH Unpaid Taxes

Yesterday,  Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Revenue Matters Osun State , Mr. Olufemi Balogun, disclosed that the state government will drag the management of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex, OAUTH, Ile-Ife, to court, if it refuses to balance  its N3billion unpaid taxes within 14 days.

According to him, the state will seek legal means to recover the N3.1billion unpaid taxes from OAUTHC, should the institution fail to respond within the 14 days grace period it sought from the state revenue service.

He explained that the re-opening of the administrative block of the hospital was done in good faith, to enable the hospital management come up with their position.
