Ogun Restates Promise On Housing

Ogun authorities have reiterated its pledge to meet the yearnings of the residents who desire to benefit from the state’s government housing scheme.

The State’s Commissioner for Housing, Daniel Adejobi who gave this assurance while speaking at Treasury Board Meeting held at the Oba’s Complex, Oke-Mosan in Abeokuta affirmed that plans had been concluded to kick-start housing projects across the state in the coming year.

He recalled that Federal Mortgage Bank had agreed to offer N2 billion loan to the state to finance its housing projects, assuring that when accessed, the fund would be spent judiciously to construct quality but affordable houses across the state’s three senatorial districts.

He noted that the houses, which would be of deferent sizes, would be affordable to all categories of residents.
