Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange floor, on Thursday, April 9, scooted back to the positive trajectory with a gain of N155 billion.
The key market performance measures, the NSE All Share Index and market capitalization, leaped by 1.33 per cent as market sentiments hit the green spot to trade up in a positive note.
Similarly, the All-Share Index gained 344.9 basis points or one per cent to close at 34,520.14 index points as against 34,175.24 recorded on Wednesday, April 8, while the market capitalization of equities jumped by N155 billion or one per cent as market sentiment returned to green zone.
Meanwhile, a turnover of 601.2 billion shares worth N4.2 billion in 5,724 deals was recorded in the day’s trading.
The number of gainers at the close of trading session was 26 while decliners closed at 21.
