The Nigeria Football Federation,NFF, is set to unveil Nigerian ex international player,Sunday Oliseh as new Super Eagles coach in Abuja, on Wednesday, July 15.
It was learnt over the weekend that both the NFF leadership and Oliseh are going to sign the five-year contract for the 40-year-old FIFA instructor to take over from Stephen Keshi.
A top football source who spoke on the recent development, said:“Oliseh will be unveiled to Nigerians on Wednesday here in Abuja. At the ceremony, he is going to sign the contract documents and other relevant papers to make the deal formal.
Although details of Oliseh’s contract are still sketchy, another reliable source stated affirmatively that there is no way the former Super Eagles captain who now runs a consultancy that trains and assesses coaches worldwide would earn anything less than the N5million paid to Keshi.
Oliseh played for Reggiana, FC Cologne, Ajax Amsterdam, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, VFL Bochum and RC Genk in a magnificent professional career, during which he played under some of the best coaches in the universe. He holds a UEFA Pro License, and coached Belgian lower division club, Vervietois between 2008 and 2009.
