NANS Laments Rising Students’ Deaths In Auto Crashes

The National Association of Nigerian Students has lamented the rising death rate of students as a result of frequent auto crashes on Nigerian roads.

The Chairman of NANS, Ekiti Axis, Mr. Damilare Bewaji, said this in Ado Ekiti on Monday while speaking with journalists after the inauguration of the new executive of the association.

Bewaji, who was reacting to the death of two undergraduates of tertiary institutions in Ado Ekiti in an accident, advised students and other road users to always be safety-conscious.

He commiserated with the families of Mr. Ebenezer Ayoade, a final year student of Marketing Department of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti and   Kayode Ajayi,  a  200 level student of  Psychology Department  of the Ekiti State University, who were crushed to death by a truck at Okesa area of Ado Ekiti on Valentine’s Day.
