Knorr Taste Quest Ends, Indonesian Emerges Winner

Forty-four-year-old Lalu Sudirham, an Indonesia national, has emerged the overall winner in the Unilever Nigeria Reality TV show tagged ‘Knorr Taste Quest’.

Sudirham, who works in Eko Hotel, Lagos, went home recently with a brand new car, N1million cash prize and kitchen equipment worth N300,000. The 1st runner-up in the competition, Miss Patricia Allison, got N1million cash prize and kitchen equipment worth N300,000.
Saratu Mammah, a Petroleum Engineer, who came third in the cooking competition, went home with N500,000 cash and kitchen equipment while the fourth and fifth persons; Ifeyinwa Mogekwu and Gregory Osamede, were rewarded with kitchen equipment worth N300,000.

The show was inaugurated late last year to package Nigeria’s finest cooks and chefs for an ultimate prize. According to Chief Marketing Director, Unilever Nigeria Plc, David Okeme, the ‘Knorr Taste Quest’ was a platform created for kitchen lovers in Nigeria to showcase their various cooking skills.
