The abductors of Inengite Nitabai, the septuagenarian cousin of President Goodluck Jonathan, have requested N500m ransom from the family to set the victim free.
A top security source explained that the abductors threatened to kill Nitabai if the family refused to produce the money soon.
“The kidnappers contacted the family four days after and demanded the sum of N500m. It is believed that the family of the victim has begun negotiations with the hoodlums,” the source stated.
Nitabai was kidnapped on Sunday by the gunmen who collected about N400,000 from his wife, Owiya.
