Immigration Deports 43 Foreigners In Bauchi

As part of efforts to ensure security of lives and property during the 2015 general elections, the Bauchi State Command of the Nigerian Immigration Service has repatriated 43 foreigners residing in the state without legal documents.

According to the state Comptroller of Immigration, Odeji Ejukwule Usman, out of the number, 37 are from Niger Republic, three from Cameroun and three from Mali.

He explained that they  were arrested in different locations in the state, adding that asides the fact that they came into the country through illegal means, they also do not have jobs.

The comptroller urged them to obtain legal documents if they want to return to the country.
