Group Forecasts Foreign Investments Portfolio Growth In Q3

The Association of Assets Custodians of Nigeria (AACN) has predicted that there will be an escalation in the volume of foreign investments portfolio in Nigeria from the third quarter of this year.

The prediction was made at the association’s press briefing to announce the third in its annual investors conference billed for the 28th of May 2014 at the London Marriot West India Quay hotel, with the theme “Nigeria: the road to emergence.”
Specifically, automation of the certificate of capital importation process; introduction of securities lending and the adoption of the Swift platform by the CSCS were some of reasons advanced for the expected positive outlook by the President of AACN and Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic IBTC Nominees, Segun Sanni.
