Drug War Receives A Boost As Customs Donates Computers To NAFDAC

As part of efforts to boost the agency’s efforts at eradicating fake drugs, the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has donated 50 computers and accessories to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

The Comptroller-General of Customs, Dr. Abdullahi Dikko who made the donation at a ceremony on Tuesday, March 10, in Abuja disclosed that it was part of the corporate social responsibility of the Service to support NAFDAC’s work to safeguard public health.

He explained that NCS had always enjoyed a harmonious working relationship with NAFDAC particularly with the introduction of the fast track Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) programme.

NAFDAC’s Director-General of, Dr. Paul Orhii thanked the Comptroller-General and entire management of the Service for the donation and the existing collaboration between the two sister Agencies.
