The new boss, who was received by the management of the Institute not only promised to work as a family but also vowed not to be deterred by poor funding.
Accepting that inadequate funding has been a major clog in the institute’s wheel of progress, Mrs. Balogun expressed her readiness to seek intervention from the private sector.
The new head also promised to carry every stakeholder along in the spirit of team-work. According to her, it is a new era and very soon, there would be a brainstorming session that will usher in a roadmap on how to change the fortune of the tourism parastatals.
She said: “I feel delighted that I am given the privilege to serve in this capacity. The new journey has started and soon, we will brainstorm on how to work harder. It is about looking for how to execute our mandate.
