President Goodluck Jonathan today sacked nine Ministers from his cabinet.
Although no statement was issued for the sack, one of the President’s spokesman said there would be no rush to replace the sacked officials.
The affected Ministers include: Olugbenga Ashiru, Foreign Affairs; Ruqqayatu Rufai, Education; Shamsudeen Usman, National Planning.
Others are, Amma Pepple, Land and Urban Development; Hadiza Mailafia, Environment; Ita Ewa , Science and Technology.
Three Ministers of State were also sacked including Defence, Olusola Obada, Power, Zainab Kuchi, and Agriculture, Tijani Bukar.
Speaking with State House correspondents, Mailafia, said that it was not a shock to her as the cabinet reshuffle was long expected.
She however urged Nigerians to continue to support the Goodluck administration.
