American R&B star, Chris Brown, has thrown up his own opinion about the Ebola outbreak that has spread to the United States, revealing a conspiracy theory slant when he tweeted that the Ebola epidemic is some form of population control.
The troubled R&B star offered his personal insight into the Ebola outbreak, writing on Twitter, “I don’t know … But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. S–t is getting crazy bruh.”
He has 13.7 million followers, many of whom disagreed with his assessment — or just wanted to poke fun at the “Don’t Think They Know” singer.
Despite his detractors, Brown’s statement seemed to resonate with some of the Twitterverse. His post has nearly 30,000 retweets and 22,000 favorites.
The Ebola outbreak has led to more than 4,000 deaths. West Africa has been hit the hardest, but there have been cases in Spain as well as the U.S., where one person has died and a nurse treating him has since tested positive.
