Nigeria possesses massive opportunity in horticulture, fruit and vegetable export to Europe, Commercial Manager, sub-Saharan Africa, DHL Aviation, Abayomi Adetola said.
According to Adetola, Nigeria can activate this unique opportunity to earn more non-oil foreign exchange.
In his interview with reporters, Adetola said that Nigerian export products are mainly vegetables, such as ugwu (Telfaria), water leaf (Talinum) and bitter leaf (Vernonia).
He called on the Agricultural sector in Nigeria to take up opportunity and invest richly in fruits, just the way Benin, Cameroon, Cotonou and other African countries have done.
