A turnover of 2.027 billion shares in 23,436 deals were traded this week by the investors on the floor of the Exchange as against the 2.210 billion shares valued at N28.960 billion that exchanged hands last week in 19,495 deals.
The financial Service Industry led the chart with 1.523 billion shares valued at N11.231 billion traded in 14,695 deals, contributing 75.12% and 54.45% to the total equity volume and value respectively.
Following closely is the consumer goods industry with a turnover of 210.188 million shares worth N.116 billion in in 3,950 deals. The third place was taken by the Oil and Gas industry with 122.812 million shares worth N2.293 billion in 1,259 deals.
