IPMAN Crisis: Kaduna State Chapter Wars Over Election

The Kaduna State chapter of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), is recently experiencing a major setback in its operations, due to conflicting members’ refusal to vote in the past election slated for March 22, 2014.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Alhaji Abdulfatah Murtala, Managing Director, Yusuffa Petroleum Nigeria Limited and First Oil Investment Nigeria Limited, said they have resolved not to accept the Chairman, Alhaji Rabi’u Mohammed Yola and other, as elected executives.

In his own words, “We will never recognise these confused and self-imposed leaders in the name of executives of Kaduna State chapter. We also call on members of IPMAN in Kaduna State to disregard the confusion being perpetrated by some disgruntled few members and reject in totality, any attempt to disrepute or sow seed of discord among the rank and file of IPMAN members.”
