Custom, Immigration, Police Pension To Report To PTAD


The Nigerian Customs Service Pension, Police Pension Office, Directors of the Civil Service Pension Office and the Pension Board of Trustees of the Federal Government Parastatals have been mandated to report to the Pension Transition Arrangement Department PTAD with effect from November 10, 2013.

In a statement by the Director Communication, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, HOCSF, Tope Ajakaiye, the circular issued by the HOCSF Alhaji Bukar Goni Aji has directed the various MDAs pension scheme to report to the Director General of the PTAD from the take off date.

He said, “President Goodluck Jonathan recently approved the establishment of PTAD in line with the provision of the Pension Reform Act, 2004 while appointing Nellie Mayshack as the Director General.”

Aji directed that the Pension Offices prepare detailed handover notes of their activities, which should include assets and liability to the DG.
